August Sneaker Release Calendar

As we’re heading into the month of August, the sneaker world isn’t allowing us time to catch a breath after last month’s ultra hyped releases that include the Dior Air Jordan, the Sean Wotherspoon x Atmos x Asics and the Off White Air Jordan 4 Sail. Similar to last month, August seems to be filled with a lot of releases from the Air Jordan brand and Nike once again, along with a couple of Yeezy releases.

Our top three hottest picks for this August’s releases have to go to the Metallic Air Jordan 1 Retro High Co.JP, the Air Jordan 1 High Satin Snack and the Air Jordan x Union 4 Retro that is said to feature 2 colourways. Looks like we’re into another month of heated Air Jordan releases! Which ones are you looking to pick up?

August 6 - AJ1 High Women's Satin Snake

Made from a nice combo of lux materials such as Satin and Snakeskin, this luxurious pair features the original Chicago colorway and seems like a normal pair from afar. But when when people get up close to see it, they'll you mean business.

August 7 - AJ 1 Retro High OG Co.JP "Tokyo"

Probably our most looked forward to sneaker release of this month, the AJ 1 Retro High Co.JP is a nice rework of the original pair that was released back in 2001, with 2001 pairs! Expect this pair to disappear from shelves. We're hoping to try to get our hands on this one for sure!

August 8 - AJ 12 Indigo

Not as hyped as the other earlier released AJ1 pairs, this AJ12 offers a similar look to the AJ12 International flight back in 2018. Its said that the upper of this sneaker will wear away and reveal a unique design underneath. We haven't seen any pictures yet, and you be sure we're as eager to do so.

August 15 - Union x Air Jordan 4 Retro "Off Noir"

In the past few months, we've seen a huge surge in demand for the Air Jordan 1 Retro high Union LAs, which has now come to be one of the most coveted colorways for the AJ1. Will this new silhouette from the same collaboration top the previous ones?

August 15 - Union x Air Jordan 4 Retro "Guava Ice"

Releasing on the same day as the "Off Noir" colorway, not much information has been released about this pair. But it has been rumored that the Guava Ice will be an in store exclusive, naturally driving up the hype for the pair. We hope the rumours aren't true as this colorway comes out as fresh as Guava gets!

August 22 - Yeezy Boost 350 V2 - "Israfil"

On the more colorful side, the next Yeezy 350 V2 release features a nice blend of orange, sandy yellow and dark grey colors that contrasts the blueish grey primeknit upper. Said to release with the traditional laces as well as a new bungee lacing system, we're curious to see what they look like in hand.

August 23 - AJ 3 SE Denim Fire Red

This show is lowkey yet fire. Dressed in white leather and elephant denim pattern on different areas, this shoe was inspired by Japanese denim.

August 29 - AJ 5 "Alternate Bel-Air"

People who are a fan of Will -Smith will know that this was the show that kicked started his acting career way back in 1985. The show was a success. This colorway pays a tribute to one of his best words on television. We won't be surprised if Will Smith gets his hands on these before the rest of the world.

August 29 - Yeezy 700 V3 - "Azareth"

The second Yeezy to release during August, the Yeezy 700 V3 Azareth is next in line from the recent popular new silhouette. The Azareth colorway features hues of sky blue, dark green and grey tones all over the shoe topped with a nice bright translucent blue cage that is said to glow in the dark!
