Wotherspoon’s adidas “Super Earth” Collaboration is ‘Almost Ready’

As we've yet to recover both financially and mentally from Sean Wotherspoon's latest Asics x Atmos sneakers drop, the vintage clothing king has confirmed AND announced an upcoming release of his collaboration with Adidas that might be sooner than you think. His upcoming release, dubbed the 'Super Earth' will center around his passion for sustainability and eco-friendly materials.

Featuring a colourful floral embroidery, the sneaker that will carry the collaboration will be none either than the iconic Adidas Originals Super Star silhouette. The flower shaped embroidery covers the upper canvas of the sneaker and hangs down, creating a string of embroidery along the side of the sneaker. The tongue features the "SUPER EARTH" branding in a fresh sky-blue colour as well as a heart warming diagram of our mother earth just underneath the laces.

The Super Earth is said to be made entirely free from animal derived products thanks to the waste minimizing production method and use of recycled rubber that forms the sole unit. We love the initiative and the direction that Adidas is taking, which is becoming increasingly popular in brands around the world such as Nike, with their recent 'Space Hippie' pack and A-COLD-WALL. With the world in the condition as it is, we're hoping more brands will shift their ethos towards a more eco-friendly and sustainable future.

The sneaker is set to release on August the 29th on the Adidas website, the price of which will be announced later. Will you be picking these up?
