It was much earlier than expected and considering the current COVID-19 situation but Los-Angeles inspired high end street wear brand Palm Angels is finally making its way to the 'other' city of Angels that is Bangkok. Fitting isnt it?

Palm Angels' designer Francesco Ragazzi, who's also the Mastermind behind lifestyle brand Moncler decided to focus his attention on the Los Angeles and skate inspired brand back in 2015. While Palm Angels is actually based in Milan, the street wear label is worlds away from your typical Milan fashion direction. Ragazzi claims that the brand reflects his background between the skateboarding culture in America and the fashion driven culture of Italy that essential portrays his own interpretation of the two distinct worlds in terms of culture and fashion.

Ragazzi mentioned that 'luxury companies are definitely getting closer to the streetworld, which is something that Moncler have been doing for a while". The quality of the garments put forth by the designer are comparable to other high end pieces by other luxurious brands, giving the brand its own place in the fashion world. Palm Angels isn't a brand that aggressively markets itself compared to other luxurious and street brands. Its a cult that's been spotted on various celebrities, especially rappers all of which have played a crucial role in the rise of the brand. In the recent years, Palm Angels have been highly coveted in Asia, where Ragazzi has expressed great interest in his upcoming direction of the brand.

To kick start their Bangkok store in Central Embassy, Palm Angels are set to host a pop up store on their very first day. We've also heard that a special and exclusive Bangkok Sprayed Face mask will be up for grabs. The face masks come in black and feature the words Palm Angels Bangkok with a blue graffiti spray over the word 'Palm'. Considering how 'trendy' and 'needed' face masks are at the moment in addition to the fact that they are a local exclusive, we'd say these are a must have.

The store is located on the first for of Central Embassy. We will of course be making a trip there! Stay tuned on Sasom for more updates!
