Release date confirmed for the Nike x Sacai VaporWaffle

One of the shoes that we're looking forward to most in the later part of 2020 has to be the Nike Vaporwaffle. We've seen some early-release pairs on social media but we're actually waiting for an official release date. Teased earlier this year during Paris Fashion Week 8 months ago, we finally have a set release date for what could be a strong sneaker-of-the-year contender. Although we've seen many more colourways in the more recent Sacai fashion shows a few months ago, we may see the release of the sail, green, and burgundy centered colourways as part of the first release. November the 6th is the current announced date. Are you ready for these?

Nike Celebrates Día de Muertos (Day of the dead)

The people of Mexico annually celebrate their 'Day of the dead' at the beginning of every November. This special and festive day involves families and friends getting together to pray for their loved ones who have died and to help support their spiritual journey. If you've watched the Disney animated film 'Coco' which was released back in 2017, you'll know what we're talking about. Each year, Nike pays homage to the Day of the Dead by releasing a dedicated footwear collection. This year's sneaker line up includes a special take on the Air Jordan 1 Mid, the Blazer, the Air Max 90, and the Daybreak, all of which feature vibrant and colourful schemes. Our favourite sneaker of the bunch has to be the Air Max 90s, which is covered in multiple colours and intricate patterns. These sneakers were already released in Mexico a while ago and have just recently been released globally this past October the 15th.

Supreme Nike Air Max Plus TN

After the successful and crazy collaboration between Supreme and Nike on their AirForce 1 model, the duo is back on the release of another iconic Nike silhouette, the Air Max Plus TN model. First introduced back in 1998, this reworked version of the popular sneak, feature mesh uppers decorated with the Supreme logo TPU fingers on the sides, giving off a fiery look accented by suede side and heel panels, and TPU toe caps. This Nike model remains a staple favourite in countries around the world. Released in 3 different colourways, the Green and University Red pairs are set to release in Supreme's stores on October 15 and on October 17 in Japan. The All-White colourway, however, will be making an appearance on November 1st.

Nike Air Jordan 5 x Off-White

The latest release of the new Nike Jordan collaboration with Off-White points to the Air Jordan 5 silhouette. Featuring a deconstructed look and painted in a 'Sail' colourway, which is reminiscent of the OG Air Jordan 5, this 'aged' retro version is initially rumored to release on the 24th of October, but have just been recently postponed (can't say we're surprised though!). It seems that this pair will be releasing along with the Jordan x Off-White capsule. The resell prices of this pair has already reached 1,000 USD, seems like we're in for another rough ride in trying to pick these up!

Nike SNKRS Restock

It's always great news when a restock is coming up. It allows more people to get their hands on limited sneakers. The latest Nike restock (that seems to be exclusive to Thailand) will take place in the news a few days. Nike has decided to restock some of their most popular previously released silhouettes. The restock will be happening to start from tomorrow over for a few days up to the 22nd of October. You can bet that we'll be trying to pick some pairs up! Good luck!
